LBC just rang me up and asked me to speak to Nick tomorrow about the Honey / Petal storyline.
A listener / viewer emailed in to say they thought it was extreme and they want to talk to me about what I think and how I felt etc.

Eeek!

It's on at just after 9.05am tomorrow morning.

being thick here...what is LBC?? I want to watch/listen to this!

(feel very ignorant as am sure i should know what LBC is!)

DontBurnMeImJustATwiglett · 01/11/2006 15:05

how do you feel about it?

why are you TeeCee now btw?

TeeCee · 01/11/2006 15:53

Sorry, that was a bit of London arrogance I think!
LBC is a London radio station.

I feel okay after chatting to the producer and she boosted my confidence but I'll be back to being a nervous wreck again tomorrow morning.

I'm TeeCee becasue I wanted to change my name for ages and now Lottie has started at school thought it might be nice to be less obvious and it seemed like a good idea iykwim? I always sign off my posts as TC and people call me TC so thought people would still know who I was.

you'll be great

but now Kitten makes no sense

Chocol8 · 01/11/2006 17:56

What is the frequency TC - i'll see if i can get it here in sunny Luton. Best of luck by the way, i'm sure you'll be great!

r3dh3d · 01/11/2006 18:10

Is that LBC or LBC news? I know they split ages ago.... (showing my age here, probably! )

They've got a web site and I think you can listen via the site so even if you're not in London you should be able to pick it up.

Not sure I'll be great, just as long as I make sense and don't speak backwards!

LBC is 97.3 FM and it's the Nick Ferrari show.

Hi Fio, not yet, it's tomorrow morning, Thurs.

Hope I can get my words out in a sensible fashion!

see how mad my typing is sometimes, I talk like that too now and then!

MrsForgetful · 02/11/2006 09:04

i'm listening now!

i found lbc on google...

MrsForgetful · 02/11/2006 09:16

i was 'goosebumpy' all through that!
You were so clear and articulate...well done!

MrsForgetful · 02/11/2006 09:17

...especially when you talked about you DD being a "child with DS" not a "DS child"...and her taking first few steps....

r3dh3d · 02/11/2006 10:28

Very good. Came across very clearly I think. But I'm afraid I didn't stay online to hear what the Great Unwashed made of it.....

TeeCee · 02/11/2006 10:29

Thanks v much MrsForgetful. I had such a dry mouth and when i drove off my legs felt a bit jellyish!

The other callers were great, think it was a really good positive bit of awareness.

one of the other callers even reffered to you later in the programme!!

TeeCee · 02/11/2006 11:20

I know

That guy I think his name was Matt reffered to me and then that woman reffered to me and said my full name, it was quite mad.

Anyway, all in all it came across as really positive. The other callers were all great and there wasn't anything but happy parents basically

MrsForgetful · 02/11/2006 11:28

yes i smiled when she said your full name...it was like you were famous!!! (well you are now!)

TeeCee · 02/11/2006 12:08

LOL!

I always listen to LBC - I didn't see this thread yesterday but I knew it was you as soon as I turned the radio on. You were great TC, as always (you should write a book). He had lots and lots of callers that couldn't get through so I hope he can make room in the future for similar discussions. Like someone said this is such a powerful storyline (the most emotive I've ever seen in a soap), but hardly any media has picked up on it, apart from Fern and Philip doing a small piece, which is a shame.
