Wetting through - nappys for big toddlers

My three year old is a long way off being toilet trained. He wets through at night. He is in 6+ nappie with a 3+ terry trainer pant over the top and a plastic wrap over that. He still sometimes soaks right through.

Any ideas on how to get bigger nappies? Is there children's nappies out there? Are there bigger trainer pants?

I have looked on amazon and get Dla so cost isn't a big issue, I just don't to spend a lot to find it won't work

He weighs about 18kg

have you tried different sorts of nappy and pullup. mine leaked in som ebrands and not in others. depeneds on the shape of the nappy and the shape of your ds's hips.

I found that the best ones were the ones with tigger and pooh on which I think are huggies... (had bigger children in these.)

Have you tried the Libero nappies? These are the ones that the continence service in my area gives to children

I know they are pricey but they might send out a couple of free samples to try for size first and you might be able to get them cheaper on ebay.
You might be able to get them for free as soon as he is old enough to access the continence service. In my area its age 4+ for daytime and nighttime wetting and age 7+ for nighttime wetting only.

I was going to say Libero nappies too. They go up to size 7.
Pampers pull-ups size 6 are quite absorbent too. Dd is 5 and we have used these as night nappies.

If you look on tena website you can buy inserts that go into nappy that are extra absorbent. Iirc they take up to 1l of liquid.
