Looks like DS1 is probably going to be on the move again, school wise Sad ... Has anyone come across Brantridge for ASD/Aspergers? And does anyone have any other suggestions for special independent day schools around Sussex or possibly Surrey? Don't want to exclude state or mainstream (we're currently at both) but it's got to be somewhere that knows what they're doing when it comes to ASD.

Northease is on the list too, despite v mixed reviews on MN....

Does your DS have Aspergers? The ICAN Meath school in Surrey take kids with a diagnosis of Aspergers.

Not sure what you know about Brantridge and whether you are happy with this choice but just checking that you do know that this is not an exclusively ASD school bug mainly BESD.
A while ago I did a few days supply and although I enjoyed teaching there, there was a boy in the class I was teaching who was obviously on the spectrum but other staff did not take this into consideration (in my opinion) with their methods. However, for a lot of the other boys, it seemed a good placement.
