when we redid her forms last year she was waiting for assessment and no-one would agreee to be a point of contact for DLA. as we dont see the docs that often it was a waste of time them contacting them. we didnt see the HV enough for them to sign.
but dd2 is at the end of a week of intensive SALT, so i asked today if i could put her down as someone to contact. she said yes. at least this time we have a fighting chance with a professional being willing to be contacted.
And we also have to ask tomorrow if dd2 would be better in the enrichment group for her speech problems at nursery. she will need a referral from SALt to put this into place.
