Transfer of financial responsibility. And SEN statement

Can anyone advice me on this please? I'm thinking of moving soon and am wondering whether the new borough we move to will be financially responsible for paying my son's fees for the special school he attends - has an SEN statement.

They would be required to support the statement, but would, in practice, review ASAP. You'd need to double check that you're not moving to an LA that's a bit of a pig to work with (to put it politely).

There's a thread with a similar predicament, here - it seems there are no easy answers as to whether it would be wise to move.

Even contemplating moving and then end up having to fight for my son to remain in his current school, fills me with dread!!
