my niece is 6 mths now but will be 8 mths by christmas

she id blind but loves music

was wondering if anybody knew a good website to buy things on

looked at normal toys but she has rattles etc

does anybody have an idea

spending bout £150

dmo, for that kind of mony you could get something really nice from a SN catalogue - try somewhere like Winslow or Rompa

They're really popular with small children with vision problems, and a great way to encourage reaching in a child with CP. They aren't cheap, however if you phone Suffolk Playworks directly and ask them to sell you a second, then you'll probably get one with carrying case for £150. Don't be put off by the 'seconds' part - everyone I know who's got one bought a second, and are still searching for the elusive mark or scratch. The quality is really excellent.
