Has anyone just got there dla premium from tax credits or are still waiting

Hi mums

I have just been awarded high rate care and low rate mobility for my son, which only took from the 8th of December till a few days ago to be processed as soon as I found out I called tax credits which was Thursday to get the disability premium, has any one recently made a claim to tax credits, how long did it take to get your back payment and your first payment? Did you get your back payment in full? Want to decorate and get my son a new bed and mattress just waiting for this payment.

If your waiting how long have you been waiting for.

mine took about just over 2 weeks which wasn't bad as that included xmas and new year = I got a lump sum as it was backdated until august. so they are pretty quick - I know they say 6 weeks but most people seem to get it in a couple of weeks

Thank you, fingers crossed should get it in the next week or two won't get much back pay but the extra weekly income will come in really handy thanks again :)

I am waiting too. I told tax credits a week ago. Hope it is sooner rather than later. My DLA claim took 3 months to process so I am hoping they backdate it to then.

keep an eye on your bank account as the money went in and then about 5 days later I got the letter

Mine has been paid. It only took just over a week in the end.
