do i get an award for the biggest NIL tribunal bundle???

just spoken to the tribunal service and the bundle on its way back and should be with me tomorrow - the bundle is 754 pages long!!!!!!!

of this about 50 pages are the LA evidence (well there is no evidence just her IEPs and that's about it really!)

the appeal for the first time for me will be in afternoon which could be an added stress as I now have to arrange childcare for all 3 ASD children so know during the hearing I am going to be worrying about that as well!! plus worrying all morning about it as well. ah well, not long left now to stress about it all

yes - its not even in my county :-( so its across country roads to get there - im thinking it will take about an hour and then on the way home wont be much fun as it will be rush hour when it finishes and dark country roads.

it is at a magistrates court - its the place we have tribunal number 1 which I guessed is where it would be as the day it falls on gave it away. at least we do know where we are going but also now have to rush around the day before as my friend needs to know what to do (she also lives quite a way from me as well..... shes a shift worker so is off on that day and her girlfriend is coming to help as well as they both work together on the same shift) so I need to show her the school run etc and what to do etc so just another thing to worry about but I trust her implicity as well

Ask the time to be rearranged for the morning as your bundle is so big there is a lot to get through ;) I did and this was agreed and is now a morning time start.

Good grief. After some exams, my DD's class had a burning ceremony of all their practice papers etc. Sausages on the barbeque didn't fare well but the baked potatoes were excellent!

wow wassup - your bundle is huge! its madness with such a huge amount of evidence that we are being made to go through this

It is madness! I also have an ongoing LGO complaint in, a EHCP for another child and a DLA form to complete asap....

sigh...... wassup - I feel your pain - ive got a draft EHCP to deal with which was sent to me over xmas so the 15 deadline is up, a year 6 transition with the LA refusing to commit to whether they will continue to name the indie school for year 7 so left me in limbo until the statement comes back probably on the feb deadline and this NIL appeal as well - 3 kids with sen is not fun! thankfully the dla forms are all done and awarded to all the kids are 16 so I feel for you having to also do a DLA form in the middle of all of this as well.

My eldest is almost 16 so having to do it again as no pip here yet. 3 of mine all have SEN as well. Thanks I need :)

Good Luck Wassup. Fingers crossed the Tribunal stay on top of the timing and don't let the bundle size cause them to adjourn.

my bundle came today = 680 pages are mine and 74 LA which is just Ofsted and school prospectus mainly - no evidence at all so 90% of the bundle is our evidence which includes EP SALT OT dyslexia specialist reports etc etc v 10% of nothing from the LA ......... including a report from her class teacher saying she is going to make appropriate progress this year.....
