My dd is doing the Cumbrian Run tomorrow.......

wow, am so proud of myself i have done a link

not half as proud as i will be of dd..dd is doing the wheelchair event and we will be hopefully raising some money for cumbria cerebral palsy

(and before anyone says anything- i am definetly not asking anyone on mumsnet to sponsor her. but would just like to raise awareness of the event and the good work that cumbria cerebral palsy provides)

well the preparations have started......

we lubricated her walking frame wheels to stop them squeaking all the way well the preparations have started......

and so far dd has nearly £50 in sponsrship....not bad for a 6year old eh!!

today is the day and bless her she's up so early as she's excited

well, looks like i'm talking to myself...but she managed to do it(with a little help)and she is so proud of herself....

there was one man who self propelled himself around and was really struggling on the last lap, we kept on talking to him and turned the home straight with him, telling him he could do it(and he did!!)and he and dd finished just about together

well done dd and everyone who entered the cumria cerebral palsy race and everyone who entered the cumbrian run.....what a fantastic time we have all had today....see you next year

thanks for the words of support-dd has a medal to say that she completed the cumbrian run and is looking forward to showing it to her friends at school tomorrow.....
will have to get the local rag too as the photographer says she has a nice photo....
