Originally applied Feb 2013 which was refused, at appeal in Sept 2013 got mid rate care. This was a renewal sent mid Oct so 10 week turn around! Been given high rate care and low rate mobility for 4 years rather than the 2 previously. This doubles the amount we receive every week. Sorry Ds has a diagnosis of Asperger's.
Feel crap wouldn't say his problems are worse before. Guess it's my issue not theirs but feel like ringing saying I don't want it.
Just low I guess that people in an office somewhere think he's worse than before. We go to tribunal 12th Jan so feeling low anyway!

Try tax credits anyway. I work part time ad it's worth having less stress. I almost had a break down doing more hours before

I understand the feeling. My DS is also in MS but gets support (not 1:1). He got HRC and LRM. Tbh I rationalised it as me being used to things because it's my life but he does stand out against peers. For us it's the constant prompting, reminding, physical support for fine motor stuff, producing timetables, teaching skills settling back to sleep etc.

Someone said something to me that made me rationalise it "DS manages reasonably well and generally because of all the support not because he no longer needs it"

Thanks better now got my head round it just a shock thought I'd have to fight to keep MRC. Not have it doubled without a BATTLE!
It's mainly settling at night a good night is a broken 6 hours of sleep for all! As you say day to day is just routine answering same question 8 times in 2 minutes just because he needs to hear it again is standard regular behaviour.

Extra sensitive and low I think tribunal 12th for 'decent' education.

If you need a friendly ear, come join us over on the goose & carrot pub thread on SN chat. There's a few people over there who are going through / gone through similar stuff Flowers
