July/ June is a way off. If you're happy with your tutors and your dc is progressing, what's the harm in waiting till June.
Your evidence should be enough between now and then to validate if this is the right setting for your dc.
Don't let the school manipulate you, if it works keep at it. Let June review speak for itself. And keep those evidence sheets and everything you can with regards to positive progress your dc is making.
