EHCP - tell me what I need to know!

My DD's statement is coming up for its annual review and I have been told we will be moving to an EHCP.

I know these are controversial with parents, but I am not sure why! Can you lovely, knowledgeable people tell me what I need to be looking out for/what I need to know.

That's an extremely big subject, Moo. It's probably simplest if you look at the SOS SEN and IPSEA websites.

Oh that's a worry :(

I didn't realise it would be such a big deal. The statement process was relatively straight forward for us. I don't feel I have the energy or brain power if its going to be so complicated.

Cerebra have just launched a guide on their website, too.
