Need some advice,
My son was diagnosed in October and I am starting a home aba programme by January, and want to get the ball rolling for an EHCP, I want this completed before my son starts nursery and I have been informed I can get some funding for early years, which is 2 plus I think.
My dilema is this, should I apply for an assessment for EHCP myself with the help of my portage worker or apply with Fiona slomivic who I do think I will need to get assistance from at some stage , as aba is not given out by LEAs readily, I am in tower hamlets any other mums been through this process in Towerhamlets please advise any information will be appreciated . Feel completely lost as everything's happened so quick and there's so much to learn.
