Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Knew they'd take their first unaided steps at the same time!

DD2 will be 10 months on the 19 Oct and yesterday and twice today she's taken about 3 steps on her own.

I knew her & Lottie would do it at the same time!
Although it may be a while before DD1 decides to do it again and DD2 will probably be off and running soon.

Oh what fun!!!!!

But did she say 'wwooooooooooaaaaahhhh'. Cos for some reason that makes me laugh about twice a day, still.

hulababy · 04/10/2006 20:28

Excellent!

Miaou · 04/10/2006 20:40

haha, wondered if that would be you, TC!!! Walking at 10 months???? Wow! Ds is yet to take any steps (is 14m now)

Maybe Lottie will be so keen to keep up with dd2 that she'll be on her feet for good soon ...

ThomBat · 04/10/2006 21:54

Mad isn't it. I reckonn when DD2 really gets going it'll be great for DD1.

I was walking with them in the garden the other day, each of them holding my hand, one on each side and we walked from one end of the garden to the other, it was fab.

Just think one day in the not too distant future I'll only have to do one trip to the car in the morning, rather than 1 for all the bags, one with Lottie and then one with Eve. Oh the bliss!

Aitch - LOL,

You're going to have your hands full! It's magical though - I'm so chuffed about Lottie.

ThomBat · 04/10/2006 22:00

You mean more full than they are already, nooooooooooooooooo, no, no, no, tis not possible surely!
But yeah you're right, it'll be madness. That Lottie is so massively cheeky now, when she learns how to run - oh MY GOD, there'll be trouble.

LOL, this is great TC.

We have a bath book - Elmer the elephant where he falls off the stepping stones into the water. It only has a few lines, and dd loves it: Stepping stones, Careful Elmer, Whoaaaaaaaaaaah, SPLASH ! I think of Lottie during the whoaaaaaaaaaah bit !

chonky · 04/10/2006 22:17

awwww - lovely news TC It's funny how you sometimes get a really good gut feel that something like this will happen.

BATtymumma · 04/10/2006 22:19

your posts always make me smile TC.

im really pleased they are both finding their feet, it will be fab for them to both be running round the garden in the snow at christmas.
