Not SN - but FIL's funeral today.

FIL's funeral today. Dh thinks it is going to be a tough day ( which goes without saying) but he thinks mil seems to he working towards funeral and he is not sure how it will all go. Saying that she has lovely supportive friends who have been rallying round her and visiting and so on - so that makes him feel better.

He finally heads home Wed your time to arrive Fri morning our time. Not soon enough - dd's are really missing him and dd1 is really off the wall at the moment - I am very tired and stressed.....

so stressed I fed the dds slightly moudly pikelets . Only one each until I realised what the tiny pinprick spots were - silly me.1

Ah, eidsvold. Been thinking of you. Awful time for all, really. Hope you get through the week ok and that DH is coping ok. Thinking of you often. xxx

thanks guys - have just spoken to him - he sounds weary already. Apparently it was rainy yesterday but today has dawned sunny and clear.

Poor you having to be left behind but pregnant with 2 DD's akready, you must feel shattered and you must really wish you were with him right now

yup - been a very crappy mum today - poor dds - esp dd1 - she is really starting to feel dh's absence and she did tell me when I asked that she missed daddy. SHe has been asking for him all day - but her behaviour is outta sight - very aggressive towards dd2 - just not wanting to share or even play with her at times.
