I printed the whole of the new SEN CODE OF PRACTICE!

Mad, yes I am slightly but it will help me both at work and at home so I really needed a copy.

Can you believe you can't get a copy from the GOV website?

My poor printer is starting to groan at page 250! Grin

I need to get a life Wink

Shock That would finish my printer off! I salute your robust printer Grin

I'm trying to fill in a job application. I'm not that it's the best idea to start the personal statement bit with 'I have been unemployed for a year' lol.
Oh God i never know how to start off these things, i really want a job

LOL Grin No fairgame I would try to change that first bit to something a bit more positve.

I am just waiting for it to do the last few pages now and then I will let it sleep for a while!

Oh no actually it can sleep after it has printed my target sheets for a TAC meeting I am attending next week Wink

Good luck with your job application Smile

Thankyou Smile
This is the 3rd attempt since DS went back to school. 1st job was for a admin officer at a school and i didn't get an interview. 2nd job was for a school nurse in the next city but i wouldn't have made it in time for a 9am start, especially as DS's taxi isn't very punctual Hmm. This one is for a family support worker in a school. I was a school nurse previously until i had to quit for the SENDIST appeal. I have all the skills i just need to word it right.
3rd time lucky i hope.

fairgame for current job i put at end of letter that I had needed to take a career break to look after disabled child but looking forward to employment. That went fine as I got the job. I also just stared at my old cv and application letter wondering how to put it across

fairgame · 16/10/2014 18:24

Thanks firsttimer i ended up putting something like that. Closing date is tomorrow so fingers crossed.
