Hi, I've been accepted for assessment for statuary statement and now I'm at the report stage.

I've written my parental views, but I'm worried that since I've written down some medical things about DS i.e. His seizures, which I haven't told anyone before, not even the developmental ped who was was assessing DS at two and asking me about his development.

What will happen? Would they start referring DS to see specialists, do the statement team even do that???

They usually send your child to see a paed for a general medical as part of the assessment process anyway. They ask for information from social services, school nurse, paediatrician as standard.

Not sure. DS's statement was done in 2010 so it's been a while so i can't remember the timings etc. It might be worth ringing them and chasing it up tomorrow.
