Taken him a long time to reply. She wrote to ask why to get the help she needs we have to go to tribunal yet again. The letter she wrote was barely legible bless her.

He has responded in the usual govt talk but did say that parents should not have to pay for addditional support so shame I can't send the LA all the bills for her specialist dyslexia teaching! He actually says ' your parents should not have to fight so hard for help ' then goes on about the new reforms. Apparently his dept is providing support for teachers to gain knowledge and skills to support children with sen

He suggests that whilst we wait for the tribunal hearing we go back to the LA to see what alternative arrangement can be made.

At least he replied although it's not really helpful. Maybe she should write back and tell him what a bunch of twats your LA are so therefore there is no point asking them about alternative arrangements!

Well he clearly isn't consistent he responded via my MP that we should go to tribunal........ Again. I wrote back saying why should we, does he realise how stressful this is, still waiting a reply!!!

Better than what i got off my MP, dozy Rosie Winterton! She wrote to the LA, got no reply then spent 3 months sending me flyers for updates on adults with autism and i've not heard from her since.

still waiting for my actual MP to respond = its been about 6 weeks now. my dd wrote to the education secretary and she forwarded it to Edward Timpson hence the delay.
