Apparently they're trying to put in place a policy whereby children placed in special schools outside their area are moved to local schools, and they're trying to beef up their local generic special schools to take them all. It can't be lawful - decisions should be based on each child's individual needs, not some blanket policy like this. I think one or two people are looking at trying to mount legal challenges on legal aid and need more information, plus of course the more challengers the merrier.
