first big hurdle is getting there!!! we are up in the midlands so quite a journey by train to get there, meant to be staying in London but dh had an accident with an angle grinder last week and his foot so is off work so I need to be home tonight for the other two children.

quite anxious about it but then she has margos report, indie OT, LA EP and another indie salt report - margo has already said yes to ASD so this is just I guess to confirm but then im worried in case she disagrees with margo - know im being silly as margo pretty adamant and my daughter is the classic passive asd girl. school filled in the paperwork and the clues were there in their answers. I guess that if daphne does say she has asd then there can be no doubt and I then become a mum to three with asd.

She has agreed with margo - classic high functioning asd girl. She also said that my LA are going to struggle with the request for a further salt report given the detail in margos report and they will be stuck as they will struggle to find other tests to do.

My daughter made me smile as I sat there and said 'no she doesn't line things up' to look across and she had lined all the cars in a perfect line ! Lovely woman so thank you all for pointing me in the right direction of her.

Great news bjk , not that your Dd has Asd but that the two proffs have agreed Smile

That seems to be a pretty clear message to your LA, bjk. Glad it was worth the trek.

Bilberry · 19/09/2014 23:46

Good news you have a clear diagnosis to take to the LEA. You have an amazing girl! I like the saying no to lining up thing - just the sort of thing I have done ('no he doesn't know his colours' and then he only gets stuck on something like cyan or magenta when tested).

Big hugs xx

Good news bjk. Flowers I know this tribunal is not parts 2, 3 and 4 but you have all the evidence you would need if it were and can credit yourself with shaving months off the long drawn out process. Only parents that have been to tribunal before get the big guns out at what is supposed to be the start of delay after delay.

Hope dd is feeling OK Smile

Well i kind of expected a letter today from the LA re the NHs salt report they want but nothing. All is quiet although that said we are going to a meeting in Monday to hear from the people who have the contract to provide independent parental supporters although the meeting being held in the council chambers with members of the LA present so not sure how independent they are going to be. I expect them to hand deliver a letter to me mid meeting!

Dd is fine , it's me that's sort of struggling with coming to terms with it all but life goes on and now I know which path I need to take which really helps.
