Just heard him on Woaman's Hour outlining his reasons for hating the programme.

"I mean, nobody ever has NORMAL kids do they? They always have ones withe 'special needs' (heavy irony in his voice) It's always like, 'oh your kid's not autistic?' (adopts aggressive tone supposed to be that of an autistic child's parent) 'why not?'"

jenni murray i think was quite surprised, and he contradicted himself saying she was an excellant broadcaster but insulted her show and the millions who listen to it i felt.

Yes, stupid item IMO. Do they invite people on the book programme to say, 'oh, I've never read a book in my life. They are full of shit' do they? Or invite people onto football programmes to say they hate football and it is a stupid waste of time? Only this was even worse because he thought it was oh so funny to take a pop at kids with special needs at the same time.
