Two months ago dd was assessed at school by the Ep since then we have seen multidisciplinary team at camhs.

Their conclusion was that although dd fits a diagnosis of adhd they want her to see a neurodevelpmental paediatrician as she fits criteria for dysexecutive problems aswell as some other bits.

I have left a message for the ep asking for a call back as camhs want to see the outcome of the report. I've not been called back Hmm

So what now?. How long have others had to wait? Is this the norm?

Thanks for reading, I hope I have made sense in my post typing on my phone.

Far too long. Ring again and check if they're on leave or not. If they don't ring back then ask to speak to their manager and explain how long you have been waiting. Even if a report is not ready (should be by two months) they should have given you verbal feed back by now.

It isn't the norm. Some LAs have policies where EPs don't usually write reports unless a statutory assessment is needed and they write brief notes during the visit, circulated to parents and school. However, you should have received some form of written communication about the assessment by now. Contact the EP by email, say CAMHS are waiting on her advice and that you're concerned that your daughter's special educational needs are fully assessed in a timely manner and within a multi-disciplinary framework.
If you don't receive a reply within 2 working days forward it to the Principal EP.
