Acclimatisation to visitors: worth a shot or a lost cause?

Has a few classmates of ds1 round this evening, blinkin nightmare- spitting, DS shut one friend in wardrobe.

Dh thinks it's worth trying to acclimatise DS as visitors to the house always cause a meltdown, i'm not sure it's even possible.

Any ideas or experiences?

I'd consult woth Donna Williams She's good on this stuff.

I think my gut would be leave it a while then try again.

Seriously she is soooooo good. Just had another consultation this week, and am about to go through a do all the things she suggested. It was her advice that eventually got the calendar off January, and the windows open in the house- we had been struggling for ages with those.

Right will follow that up

Just sent message on yahoo thing, Ed Consultant at SNAp spoke to school- they say Sam just needs his aprents to see a parenting class teacher.

Am SERIOUSLY flipping here!!!!!!! I hope she dosn't even try to talk to me today at school (which she will, as DH isn't going to be there to help me defend myself- I just get confused and jittery, as she well knows)

Sam is so going to another school, lying two faced sons of a.... sorry
