Aspergers diasgnosis in girls

Does any one know if Daphne Keen is good at diagnosing girls with Aspergers S? I was told that I should take my daughter to someone who has good experience with girls as most cases go undiagnosed. Most medical professionals have more experience with boys. Thanks

I believe she is from what other posters on here have said. my daughter is seeing margo sharp in two weeks time - she is a SALT but she can do the DISCO. I have also enquired about her seeing daphne keen but awaiting what happens next - secretary said a week ago papers been passed to daphne and I would hear after that but still waiting

DS1 presents like a girl iykwim. He saw Margo first and then DK.

Margo is indeed fab. She dx'd dd2 earlier this year.

I dont know about DK or Margo but I do know that the DISCO is a great tool for picking up hard to diagnose girls.
