OT specialising in Sensory Integration Therapy in the West Midlands?

Has anyone out there found a good OT for this? We're in Birmingham. I've been told today that ds2 has SPD, but that treatment's not covered by the NHS, so we're beginning to wonder if going private would be a good idea.

... and would you mind giving me some idea how much it cost you? (winces in anticipation...)

I'm in a different region from you but found a sensory OT using this site
www.cotss-ip.org.uk/find

We only needed a report and not therapy and that cost us about £500 plus travelling expenses. She was far more thorough in her assessments than NHS OT ever had been though and a lot more helpful in her suggestions, avoiding going down the track of depressing grey vinyl and giving us ideas for everyday things that would help DS1 without making him feel self conscious.
