I dont know what a neuro disability Dr is. DD has recently been diagnosed with Developmental Coordination Disorder and they also picked up that she has a tremor, I presume the appointment is to do with the tremor but I am worrying just I think because of the title of the dr. Does anyne know exactly what one is?

It's quite a catch-all, don't worry. A neuro-disability clinic is basically a developmental clinic, could see children for dyspraxia, low tone, learning difficulty......

Basically a neuro paed deals with conditions like dyspraxia , autism etc

My son is under neuro disability but the doc is really just a Dev pead. He has suspected dyspraxia like his older brother.

We saw a private orthopaedic Dr this week about our dd 2 years 8 months with Cerebral Palsy. He is putting a referral in for her to see a neurodisability Doctor which sounds scary. I googled her though and I agree that it is just another child development specialist but she probably just sounds more scary than she actually is!!
