Ds is still awaiting to see the development paed but salt (who works with the paed and does other work) thinks hes hfa and adhd. His traits are
-never sitting still
-very impulsive
-very clumsy
-repetitive running to one side of room to other

  • not holding eye contact
-cant sit amd play with1 toy for longer than1 min
  • food aversion
  • sensory aversion (noise and oral touch)
-disturbed sleep could stay awake very late despite not sleeping all day. -delayed speech and language
  • speech regression
And more. Hes currently at a private day nursery (who haven't raised any red flags) and hes been there 2 years and still screams when going. . Hes going to the school nursery here but I'm worried about all the fight im going to have to get him dressed in his uniform as he will realise it's for school. Also another tips on helping him in general would be appreciated thanks

His old private nursery didn't have uniform but he understands when we pick up his superman bag it means nursery so he would have a full blown meltdown. TThis is state nursery at school and they do have a uniform as nephew is currently there and will be in the class above once ds goes. We've got a 'play session' on Wednesday and I will be asking questions but dont know what to ask wrt hfa/adhd. The questions will be based around what help can they offer etc
what do you recommend asking?
And whats a senco Blush

I will ask about that thanks.
I do think he will need the help as hes been learning to count for a very long time (they start young at the private nursery) and he still cant get past 2/ 3 if we are lucky. He doesnt sit still long enough and he cant contain himself. He still not ready to be potty trained either.
