Does anyone have any knowledge of this? I have found a nursery for my ds who is not 3 until October. The nursery Manager has said there is a place available for him in September so we need to complete the application for an EEP. I explained to the Manager that we were not in receipt of any benefits however she seems to think that this is ok however the first question they ask is to tick the benefits you receive as the child will only be eligible if you are in receipt of one of them. I have applied for DLA however we have not heard anything yet, however this is not mentioned on the form, thanks for any info you may have.

Maybe write on the form anyway that DLA application is pending? Can't do any harm.

From September DLA counts in my area for 2 yr old funding. Dont know if that is a national policy.

I am not sure if DLA counts but we used to get 2 year old funding for one of my DD's - they passed it as an exceptional circumstance, so although we didn't receive the benefits on the list they can make special cases.
