would you think the LA would agree?
Ds is at an indi but I am not sure that they can meet his academic needs as adequately as they have claimed. Ds is not being challenged and getting depressed and frustrated.

If I were to find any other schools that could meet needs, were more academically suited and cheaper than where he is now would I be able to move fairly easily do you think?

Possibly, but bear in mind that if you start saying the current school cannot meet DS' needs they might bypass your cheaper choice of school and nominate their own maintained school.

Thanks Ici. Food for thought.
It has previously been proven though that they have no suitable schools, mainstream or otherwise, and I do not believe that the situation has changed. He needs small class sizes so that rules out the mainstream provision that there is.
