I am just sorting out my witnesses for tribunal (appealing parts 2 and 3).
I have salt, ot and ep that are all available to attend.
I have the salt and ot booked already, just wondered how much roughly eps charge. thanks

I think my EP charged around £500 to attend the tribunal

Mine charged around £900 plus VAT plus travel and accommodation. LA conceded on the day before any of them got the chance to speak. Application for costs refused as LA claimed to have come to tribunal expecting to win but, apparently, my evidence was so compelling that they conceded. Yeah, right. Can you tell it still smarts?

I paid very roughly the same amount for each as I paid them for their original assessments/reports. It is a very very expensive day but if you have a tough/complex case, then it was worth having them on board - particularly if you are going for an expensive placement/provision.

I wondered about having the OT on board during the hearing because the LA had conceded this part of DS's provision on the final evidence deadline because they forgot to assess him. But in the end, the indie OT spoke a lot during the hearing and her evidence was quite crucial in proving that the LA school could not meet need.

my salt and ot have quoted £850 each plus £270 travel costs each. hoping the ep wont be much more than this, ive already paid for assessments separately.

cant believe we are talking in excess of 3k just to fight for adequate Shock

Standard travel costs tend to be 45p per mile.
