Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Can anyone recommend a book of sex/ bodies/ teen stuff please?

DS2 is nearly 17, ASD and mild LDs and to my dismay I have only just realised how little he knows and understands.. probably at an age 6 level.

He gets distressed by wet dreams as he thinks he has wet himself even though we have explained in simple terms. He is quite able in some areas but huge gaps in his ability to process other stuff and 12 years of PSHCE at school and nothing useful has filtered through.

I'm finding it hard to find something sort of age appropriate but easy to understand. I need him to be happy with his own body and feelings and have a basic understanding of the mechanics of sex at least!

Any suggestions?
