With his (bare) hands ...

Bless him, he is trying to be grown up and to help. he is nearly 17, autistic, LDs, and he frequently blocks the loo by using a whole roll at each poo! I regularly have to unblock it ..yuk.

But I am away looking after his sister who has just had an op and complications, and he blocked the loo then though, rather than wait for Daddy he would do it himself. Not knowing any better he fished out the offending poo and all the loo roll... with his hands...

He was very proud and excitedly informed Daddy just before he was about to eat his dinner. Needless to say he was plonked in the shower first Grin

DH said he was careful to congratulate him , while scrubbing him!

Bless him he tries so hard to help. His autism has been a blessing the last couple of days, as he isn't worried sick about his sister. She went in for a simple tonsilectomy (she is 22 but a med student far from home and was scared so I went to be with her) and post op she had 9.. yes 9.. severe tonic clonic seizures and now needs a heap of investgations :( She has ADHD, and various other neuro oddities but this was a bit of a blinder for us :/

I am going to teach him how to use the plunger I think!!!!

Well done your DS! Introduce him to marigolds Grin

Your poor DD. Did you have any indication of epilepsy prior to the OP?

AgnesDiPesto · 10/05/2014 09:01

Hope your dd is ok.
It's funny when they figure out how to do stuff with their logic, DS has spent the past week with an electric toothbrush in his mouth constantly to dislodge his annoying wobbly tooth which wouldn't come out, then we realise it's come out but no idea where. Quite impressed he figured out the toothbrush would be a more efficient way of doing the wobbling than a finger.
Maybe put up instructions on how to unblock toilet tho!

I'm in the process of having to design instructions of how you know your bum is clean and can stop wiping! Luckily we don't get many visitors...

Yes, found my ds (4) putting his pull up in the washing machine... Apparently he did a poo in it so put the poo in the toilet(!) then the pull up in the washing machine - he had turned it on and was trying to figure out the washing powder when I found him. Lovely, sweet, great they are trying, but....

Sorry to hear about your dd, best wishes to her.

Blimey medusa how scary for you and your Dd Sad I hope the investigations come up with something useful.

Well done to your Ds though for even caring that he had blocked the loo, none of mine do Hmm Grin
