I have 3 children. Two have motor stereotypy (autistic like flapping) and slightly low muscle tone. The oldest has some other (verified) autistic traits but they are mild. He also has upper motor neuron signs in his right leg which have only just been noticed and they strongly suspect cp but it is to be confirmed by mri (and also to rule out other conditions by imaging). His younger brother has a very mild (but verified) hand tremor and no other symptoms other than the flapping and low tone shared with his brother. My third child has no symptoms of anything and has always been on track developmentally (although adjusted for prematurity).
I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced any similar symptoms. I'm hoping the symptoms are all benign but a little part of me is worrying there might be something more sinister going on...
