DS 12 AS, had new subject teacher today. Teacher asked the class whether they liked the subject and what did they think of their previous teacher. Cue silence from the class apart from DS who said it was boring and the previous teacher was rubbish.

At this point the new teacher got very angry much to DS's surprise!!

Oh dear!! Bless him. Our kids struggle so much to understand when they should answer a question honestly and when it would be better to zip it.

Love his honesty but the teacher should have read his/her pupil file! If he didnt want honesty he/she shouldnt have asked.

if your DS ever wants some sympathy mine would be happy to oblige -

"But why do they ask the question Mum if you are not supposed to answer?".
