I responded and said no to any adjournment and not heard a peep from them since! its now 2 weeks to the hearing - they are definitely playing with my mind!!! thought them making an application 3 weeks before but surely they aren't going to now try it 2 weeks before or even worse on the morning of the hearing?

phone rang earlier and it was the LA number so I thought - here we go and it was the boys social worker wanting to come and see me - I said yes to next week but now as my mind is all messed up ive convinced myself she is being sent to 'spy' on me so thinking maybe I should put her off until after the hearing instead but I know I may be being completely paranoid but then she does work in the same office as the sen team..........

I would put it off until after tribunal. If your LA is anything like mine the next 2 weeks will be never ending requests for changes eg extra / different witnesses and working docs flying back and forward.

its a refusal to assess agnes so no working document thankfully this time - and the LA only calling the teacher who has no said she cant come hence why LA want to adjourn it. my other concern is that they try and call the EP but hes never seen her and the LA have no reports at all but im guessing the LA still have plenty of tricks up their sleeves yet

Put it off. It's fine to have agreed and now change your mind. You can even be honest and say that given you're about to go to tribunal against the people in her office you'd rather no appointments until afterwards.

YOu don't have to pretend.

I know this bit is scary, but you're on the ball, sensible, consistent and your LA are clearly bonkers.

Oh God, please let this be over!!!!!

Your story is like being tickled. Laugh-inducing for a long while and then eventually violence/crying-inducing!!!

I'm sure if I were you I'd be under the duvet with a bottle of wine by now!

yep - my LA are bonkers that is for sure - I sat up late last night looking at the NC scores - know I shouldn't really be going on them as ive had standardised testing done so will be relying on those more accurate scores BUT think even the school have gone bonkers now!

reading - standardised testing is 2nd centile and has changed at all.

school since dec = on one hand say she got a 2b which puts her 8 points from where she should be so shes significantly behind BUT then school say when shes retested usng a TA as a scribe ,(tell her the answers, basically do the test for her) shes a 4C!!! |(its a miracle I hear you cry!) which means that she is not behind at all and has now made up the 8 points difference and is completely on track with her peers - more bonkers
