Hypersensitivity and football socks/kit

Hello
My hypersensitive to touch and feel son is really
Keen to start football club at school. The only think holding him back is the worry that football socks are so itchy and hard for him to put on. He wants to wear them with shin pads and look like the other children. Does anyone know any football style socks that are soft or cotton?

I know it seems like such a tiny
Problem but a solution would make my 6 year olds life much better!

Many thanks in advance

The cotton ones are (IMO) even scratchier than the acrylic. And the shin pads usually go straight onto the skin, underneath the horrid tight sock. They're a nightmare to get on. Often impossible unaided.

If we were doing it again, I'd get some plain (black) super-thin smooth, soft cotton knee socks. Girl ones, probably from a dance shop.

Then shin pads. On top then add the plain, black, ribbed legwarmers that look quite like footie socks but go on easily (think of 1980s 'Fame' outfits, if you're old enough to remember it)

And these for the boots

Thank you so much! And thank you for the link, those laces look perfect :-) it's so hard as to most people a 6 year old should have no problem with putting on football socks but to him it's such a huge thing. Thank you again :-)
