Here

The beauty of this is that Prof Hastings has managed to compress a huge amount of important information into a very accessible form to empower parents to ensure their children are getting what an LEA is expected to provide for them.

thanks, moondog, very interesting read.

I have dd1 all sorted for the moment, at a great school with fab staff.

however dd2 has just got her dx, and I expect I will need to beat her teachers round the head with her dx report to get them to take any notice whatsoever. this will be a handy checklist for me to keep to when faced with their blathering nonsense re: support packages and how they can't change anythign as it isn't fair on the others etc.

Ignore the flannel (politely of course) and cut to the chase.
If they can answer these questions, then you know things are going well.
