TAGteach is fantastic. So easy and effective.
These people are rarely in the UK training but they are this year.
Birmingham 29th May

Also a webinar tomorrow on fluency, which I guarantee will be the business.
Fluency: who needs it?

Sorry for sounding thick, but can you explain what they mean by fluency please?

moondog · 10/04/2014 15:49

Fluent behaviour is both accurate and quick-effortless if you like.
Accuracy is important but without pace, it means little.

No use being good at your time tables for example, if it takes 30 seconds to do each one.
This is at the core of Precision Teaching.
Get good at something and get fast at it too.

It's a shame if that is the impression as these people are great. They really know their stuff and have an impeccable academic pedigree.
Skinner's daughter, Julie Vargas is on the board as well as Carl Binder, the king of Precision Teaching.

I'm trying to make sense of it from my phone with cracked screen but do you have to pay for a course before this one?

moondog · 10/04/2014 21:01

Hmm, yes, looking more closely I see you need Primary certification.
I should have read more carefully but such was my excitement and urge to share with you all. Theresa is the most energetic and enthusiastic person I know. Sharp as a pin and able to cut through all the fuzziness of 'learning objectives' and clarify in a few minutes, what exactly needs to be learnt and how it needs to be taught.

I would like to parachute her into the office of every sloppy SENCO and vague SEN team in the land. She would be the proverbial rocket up the backside.

The webinar which took place today will be well worth watching.
