My 3.5yo told me he loves me for the first time

Last night, as I was putting him to bed. And then tonight he said "I love you so much" as we were climbing the stairs.

My special, special boy. Just wanted to share :).

Honestly, it nearly made my heart burst. He is such a beautiful, innocent and happy soul.

I remember when my DS did this. My heart melted and I actually cried. Now he's learned that if he says it when I'm telling him off for something, I soften up, smile and he gets away with it. He's using it against me, damn it, and I'm powerless!

Oh yes, I'll be putty in his hands if/when he realises he can use it against me :o.

He somewhat ruined the effect this evening by saying "I love you [his own name]" but still, the sentiment behind it's the same :)
