Has anyone else read this ? I just got mine from an Amazon marketseller, it's really good. The author is in her 70s and has a brother with CP & a moderate learning disability. The book is a very thorough and interesting exploration of all aspects of being a sibling of someone with a disability, a life-limiting condition or mental health issues.
She covers everything from childhood up to old age, goes into much detail about the effects on siblings and all the studies that have been done about this and it's full of practical stuff too like planning for the future, housing etc.
It's been a really good read and has given me some good ideas and reassurance on how to handle dd2's disability with regards to her siblings.
