Had to go to a tribunal yesterday as part of my job as a senco and today as a parent!

Exhausting but felt like both panels listened to what was said, fingers crossed for a good out come for us and the other family Smile

Aaahh thanks all, I am a bit wiped out but hopefully I will sleep tonight Smile

bjk Yes they were both refusal to assess and they lasted around 3- 3.5 hrs.

Mine today involved more breaks but much more talking from individuals. Yesterdays was alot of Q and A's. Both panels listened and the person who wasnt the judge in mine clearly had good knowledge of Asd!

Just glad that bit is over!!

thanks i need - im thinking ahead about childcare and whether i will be back for the school run! my last one was a part 2 3 and 4 so lots of witnesses.

2 in 2 days must be a record though!

ouryve · 02/04/2014 18:31

Wow, that's intensive, Ineed. Well done and good luck!

I would have backup plans for after school care, just in case, bjk.

It is 1/2 a day for refusal to assess bjk - we had a 2pm start which was awkward for school ect, we had to get a relative to help out. Mine was on Tuesday - so now awaiting result.

nostoppingme · 03/04/2014 05:38

Wow! Have a good rest (for awhile) .. All the best!

RaRaTheNoisyLion · 03/04/2014 13:41

OMG, You poor thing!

Hope it wasn't the same judge.

Ineedmorepatience · 03/04/2014 15:59

Lol, no ra ra it wasnt but the court staff recognised me which was quite funny.
I can only guess that most people dont turn up at sendist tribunals 2 days running in a hoody and jeans Blush(not the same ones may I add Grin )

I was relieved it was a different panel as they might have found it difficult to see me as a parent on the 2nd day.

hoody and jeans?

I wish I felt able to wear a hoody and jeans at my ds' tribunal. I was most uncomfortable in my grey swishy skirt and white jacket which have both sat in my wardrobe unworn ever since.

Ineedmorepatience · 03/04/2014 17:26

Yep actually I made the clothing decision for exactly that reason. I have some issues with clothes and would not have been able to speak up confidently if I was dressed up as something I am not.

I have a very thick skin when it comes to clothing and dont actually care about what other people think about me and how I look.

As it was World Autism Awareness day yesterday I carefully selected a hoody with an autism awareness slogan on the front Grin
