Dd1 had an appointment last week at the ADHD clinic

and the doctor said that although they don't diagnosis children under the age of 7, dd1 has many signs of ADHD and they will be investigating it further. We have another appointment in 2 months and we will have a questionaire to fill in, as will the school. Finally someone is listening to ME!!!!!

Have to say sparkly never heard of not diagnosing adhd before 7. My own dd has a dx at 4!

i know children with ADHD younger than 7 too, but thats what the doc said. But she is showing significant signs so they said that its likely that she will be diagnosed before she is 7 but not with the label IYSWIM.

Sorry sparkly but that doesn't make sense? Dx but not label, how does that work?
Unless you mean say she has traits of?
