It wasn't long enough. I liked the fact that they wanted us to discuss the breakdown of each section but I think it would have been far more useful if we had then talked about that in more depth as a whole group afterwards. I just feel that these meetings are so rushed. I was at the conference at the library at the end of January and that was so badly organised. I did go to a workshop in February on personal budgets though and that was for the whole day and I really felt that that was worthwhile and informative. It is not just parents that feel this way though, I was at a review meeting yesterday of my daughter's IEP and her Teacher for the Deaf and Area Senco were there and they both said that the meetings they are going to (as they are both involved in the EHCP pilot scheme) are badly organised and that the thing they are concerned about is that the professionals who are not involved, know very little about it. I definitely thing the changes will make it better, I just think that implementing them will be an arduous process. What did you think?
