I was reading a thread earlier and there was mention of the effect of trauma on creating asd like presentation. I would be very interested in learning more. Until ds was two I honestly thought that trauma was the reason for his difficulties, I still wonder about the impact that early trauma has had on him and would love to read some research on this or talk to someone with information.
BTW ds had medical trauma at birth and possibly ongoing pain and gut difficulties thereafter (every cry was and still is I'm going to die of pain right now and it is hard to know when he really was/is in pain)
