LEA HIRE BARRISTER RATHER THAN ASSESS CHILD

The Local Education Authority are hiring barristers for the SENDIST Tribunal rather than assess the child. What is significant is the LEA have stated they have no public money to carry out the assessment , but as it turns out can use the public purse to hire barristers .
The costs involved for assessment minimal as the Health authority have done most of the assessments already.

We would like the family of mumsnet to help us with a petition. Anyone that can help please let me know

I represented myself as I felt no one would know the case as well as I did - the evidence was overwhelming but there was a lot at stake - the la lost even with the barrister - the barrister did have the complete understanding of the case that I had. he couldn't be arsed to even do a closing argument whereas when I did mine, I didn't do it from the script I spoke from the heart as a concerned parent and I think that really helped.

just cos the say the word barrister - don't be intimidated at all.
