Get the tissues out
It's really sad to read.

I wanted to post it though because it's so remarkable to see the life of someone with a learning disability celebrated in this way.

that's lovely geekgirl. I really like those obituaries in the Guardian. They're called "Other lives" where ordinary people have their obituaries written by a friend or relative. There have been some really interesting and very touching ones - better than the celebrities IMO!
