I could do with a few honks please, bluechick in hospital

Bluechick is in hospital again, possibly serious, possibly 'merely' an extreme reaction to something that shouldn't be serious.

Just need a few honks, I am drained and thought we were losing her last night.

Sorry to be self indulgent, but this goose needs the strength of others for a bit.

Just seen this Bluebird. So sorry you've all been through this. Sounds horribly scary. Glad to hear you've had more positive news this afternoon. x

Sorry to hear this - really glad bluechick is on the mend. Honking like a good 'un for you both. X

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 03/02/2014 21:41

Hope she's much better soon. Xx

bluebirdonmyshoulder · 04/02/2014 08:36

She is much much better this morning!

It wasn't the worst case scenario and nothing to do with one of her underlying conditions either which were the two main fears.

Just 'normal' childhood stuff! It looked so serious at one point, I really honesrly thought I'd never be taking her home again.

Thank you all so much for caring, this board is wonderful. I may be opening up the Goose and Carrot very early this Friday. Lots of Thanks to you all.

Sneezecakesmum · 06/02/2014 11:43

Just read this but so pleased for you everything is on the up. Dormant terror is part of SN life but it looks like it's been beaten into submission again Grin

bluebirdonmyshoulder · 06/02/2014 18:27

Just wanted to let you all know that bluechick is doing well and we're going home tonight.

We had a couple of very very frightening days but we're all ok now. Feel like I've been on a really weird rollercoaster that looked like it was going to crash but then smoothly glided to a nice bump free stop.

Sneezecakes 'dormant terror' is an excellent phrase. And even though it's been beaten this time, it's all just so bloody draining.

Many thanks, hugs, and honks to you all.
