I am so happy and can't stop crying.

As many for you know my DD has CP - in January we were told that she was also mentally six months behind.

We were tld recently that she probly wouldn't get into mainstream nursery at 3 as she'd be to behind so an assesment was done on her.

Although her speech is a little behind today we were told that she is actually quite advanced and that she'll have no problems getting in at all.

I have cried all morning as this the best news we've had in a long time - the sun is defanitely shinning on us for a change.

She'll soon be doing so well at nursery that you'll be wondering how anyone could have possibly thought she wouldn't have been able to cope.

Great news Fairydust - she'll love it. And it will give you chance to meet people in a non SEN environment.

My dd with cp went to a mainstream nursery and the staff were fantastic! Watch out for the Nativity Play - remember the hankies!
