DD who has ASD and has recently started ms school with full 1:1 has got a party invite. This comes after years of ds being shunned by peers for possible ASD and ADHD. I'm so over the moon she has been accepted by one child at least.

I've posted here because I'm so happy and thought you lot might understand why such a simple thing has made me very happy for dd but very sad for ds.

Advance warning - DS used to run away screaming when another Mum gave me a party invite at pick up time. I never worked out how to head it off and it was so embarrassing.

chocnomore · 07/01/2014 07:50

Thanks all now I'm just having a hard time explaining that while yes it's her party invite not her brothers or sisters it's not actually her birthday party Grin
