Who's children are starting school in September? Shall we all start hand holding for each other?

Hi autumns mum here as I mentioned in sn chat dd2 will be starting in reception in her sp sch in September .i wondered who else has a little one starting then ?

Hi all,
Bowing out of the September intake. Autism specialist observed DD and believes she has HFA. Very bright 'savant' qualities but socially very delayed, no interaction at all with peers, little understanding of emotions / empathy and fine motor skill issues. She feels she'd do better to stay in nursery an extra year (October birthday so can do this) and go straight into year one as she will struggle with the social play and unstructured reception environment but will do well with the structure of year 1. Nursery is very structured and they will focus on helping her with social stories etc. So relieved - I feel I have permission to do this and will not be putting her back but helping her forwards.
